OS HOMENS QUE EU TIVE by the now 73-year-old Tereza Trautman is a European premiere, as the film was censored upon completion by the Brazilian dictatorship and has now been restored by the  Cinemateca Brasileira. One might talk here of feministic pensiveness, which unfolds from a soft-core center; the ideas are also big: film strips as something to lie on during sex, wonderful outfits, it’s the 70s after all, bodies shown with confidence, women writing on portable typewriters, yeah, sexy on top! Pitty loves and is loved, everyone is allowed to have everything from everyone else, anyone who has enough moves on, the open circle seems limitless. And it’s entirely Pitty’s concern to withdraw from the macho gameplaying.
